The Maltings

The Maltings is located just off the High Street in the Market Town of Royal Wootton Bassett. The building was built in 1870 by Samuel Hart as a brewery which was known for producing "Good Honest Ales." 

The Brewery changed hands after Hart was declared bankrupt. Under the ownership of Lamb Brewery of Frome it continued its life as a brewery until WWI. 

The Maltings was then used to store a range of items, and has since been converted into a complex of apartments.
